The Point7 Manufacturing Quality Control procedure outlines the standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to deterioration and contamination prevention, packaging and labeling, and quality assurance. This plan is written in alignment with California’s Department of Public Health (CDPH) regulations. Subtopics include: proper storage and handling of cannabis goods; adulterants and allergens; refrigerated storage and product organization; recognizing signs of deterioration and contamination; sanitation, hygiene, and maintenance; workstation configuration and area maintenance including cannabis contact equipment and cleaning compounds; weights and measures; ensuring compliant and accurate packaging and labeling including required statements and label integrity, compliant packaging, and visual inspection; coordination for receiving test results and certificates of analysis; and managing compromised product and recalls including remediation of failed batches and a recall plan.
